At Aalborg University, it is customary to use an interdisciplinary approach in research. Aalborg University is therefore especially suitable for research relating to such a multi-faceted and creative personality as that of Kaj Munk.
Furthermore, Aalborg University does not own complete archives of other authors. The Kaj Munk archive can therefore be expected to get a central position at Aalborg University, which it would not get in Copenhagen or Aarhus, where it would be only one of many archives.
Therefore, it was of importance to the board that the Kaj Munk Research Center should be affiliated to Aalborg University.
